Suggest Treatment For Infected Wound On Glans Penis

default
Posted on Tue, 3 Jun 2014
Question: Hello. I have a wound on my penis, on the glans. It is leaking a clear fluid. The fluid will dry up and form a scab, but if I bandage it or cover it for an extended period of time, it will become moist again and open up. There is no pus. The wound seems to get better then worse then better again. This has been going on for 2 weeks. Initially, I put some Neosporin on the wound and all around the edge of the penis. I also tried some Abreva. Neither of these helped and I developed a secondary yeast infection on the areas that I applied the Neosporin. I have used Miconazole Nitrate to treat the yeast infection, and it has almost completely cleared up.

No, it did not appear after sex. It wasn't as bad at first, but I think it was damaged further from getting erections throughout the night. I do not have any itching or urethral discharge.
