Suggest Treatment For Infection In The Hair Follicles
Question: I have this problem for almost a month and a half. I am using Fucidin H for the past 2 days but it's not helping. However on the morning it's minimal and at night the pimples get bigger. I was regularly swimming for 2 hours before they started and noticed pus filled pimples. it's not on the penis itself but just the hair above it. It doesn't seem like an STD but I had sex with condoms 2 months back before it all started. I personally thought it is a hair follicle infection. please help. thanks

I can assure that this is not the case. You are most likely being affected by folliculitis, which is inflammation of the hair follicles. Yours seem not to be severe but could get complicated if not properly treated. The majority of folliculitis is due to bacterial infection notably staphylococci.
The Fucidin H ointment you were using should normally do the trick, and given that it is only 2 days you have applied it, it is better you continue at least for 8 more days before we can make any assumptions. However, maintain proper hygiene; before shaving, make sure you wash off your pubic area with antimicrobial soaps allow to dry then you shave.
So yes, you are right to suspect hair follicle infection. It is also possible that it could be infectious dermatitis which of course changes nothing to the advice I have given you. If it persists, however, take an appointment with a dermatologist for proper medical evaluation.
