Question: I was hit in the eye a week ago when the metal clip on the strap to my purse broke and whipped back into my eye near the pupil. It hurt at first but the pain went away quickly. My vision has not been hurt in anyway. But, there is now a red bump or nodule on the underlid below the spot. It seems to have been getting slowly worse since it first appeared. Once an insect bite me in the corner of my other eye (on the eyeball) with a similar nodule that appeared on the top lid. It went away fairly quickly. What do I need to do from here?

Brief Answer:
anti infllamatory eye drop

Detailed Answer:
My Dear,
Thanks for sending your query to us.
I would have been happy if you could send me aclose up photo of that eye.Still these are infllammatory reactions in the eye and if there is no pain or grittiness then it tends to go away on its own and to help it's early resolution you could use anti infllamatory drops if possible.
In case associated with any pain then anti infllamatory oral tablets are needed
Please do get back to me in case of any further query in this regard.

Thank you      Dr. Misra. Can I get the anti-inflamatory drops over the counter or will I need a Rx? Is there a natural form other than steroids?
