Question: Today I had a fall down five stairs. I am concerned of a possible L4 L5 vertebrae compression injury. It looks like a huge hematoma.

Brief Answer:
Visit orthopedic surgeon.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have read your query,

You should not ignore all this and immediately visit Orthopedic surgeon, he will clinically assess you and may advise you MRI scan of lumbar region to see present condition of lumbar vertebrae, intervertebral disc, surrounding soft tissue injury.

And if needed he will inject your steroid injection which is very necessary with in first 24 hours.

Don't check your movements or assess yourself, its beyond your approach.

Try to take rest or have any painkiller if there is severe pain.

I hope you got the point.

Thanks,
