Brief Answer:
Inner ear infection
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns
You are concerned that your wife may have an inner ear infection. If it is infection which can be diagnosed by looking in the ear with an otoscope and seeing inflammation of the ear drum then she can be treated with oral antibiotics. She would also have XXXXXXX pain upper respiratory infection symptoms and maybe loss of hearing. If she is experiencing dizziness and vertigo then antibiotics will not help. For vertigo she should use meclizine. This will help with the dizziness and even some of the nausea from the dizziness.
