Suggest Treatment For Inner Ear Infection

Question: Hello, I am a healthy 65 year old who just had a sucessful physical exam. I have been slightly dizzy with no real pain for the past two days. i have continued in my daily routine at home and the gym. I suspect an inner ear infection as I tend to get upper respatory infections. I take XXXXXXX Becones and Allegra every day and have for 15 years. I have a Z-Pak that expired in 2010 and am considering starting it as we are traveling by air on Tuesday. Your thoughts.

Brief Answer:
Do not take an expired medication!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Do you have an ear pain? That’s a very common sign of an ear infection and if you don’t have it, it is very unlikely that you could be having an ear infection. I totally deny that you take an expired medication. I will say rather plan to meet your primary care doctor as soon as possible. From your symptoms, there seem to be no urgency about this unless you develop a fever or excruciating pain.
I wish you well. Best wishes and stay well.
