
Suggest Treatment For Insensitivity In Scrotum

Question: i wore an tight jeans yesterday ... my weight is around 78 and 161 cm tall .. so obese .. i was giving an exam so was sitting for around 4 hours with 1 hour break ... after reaching home i observed that an area of skin right to scrotum including some leg area become insensitive i can not feel my fingers touch . i though it might recover in night but it is still there .. so query is whether it will recover slowly or i need to visit doc . ?

This type of a paraesthesia is of a pretty common occurrence. It is termed meralgia paraesthetica in medical parlance.
Don't worry...it is probably on account of the tight jeans & 'genes' put together ;-) ...please do lose some weight & if it does not get better in a week please do meet up with an orthopaedic or spine surgeon. If in XXXXXXX will be happy to point you in the direction of one..if not, please look up this healthcaremagic site for one in your neck of the woods.
For the moment, relax....it will recover & perhaps some nerve being pinched in the area because of pressure or positional issues.
