Suggest Treatment For Intense Pain In The Eyes
Question: I have a black eye for no apparent reason. 4 or so years ago I had an intense pain in same eye, got a brain scan done, all good. Occasionly I get a pain in same eye these days, but not bad or intense. In 1977 I had massive head injuries from a motorcycle accident, now take carbamezapine for epilepsy, which is very well controlled. Did someone get this?
Brief Answer:
Take treatment as advised and get investigated
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Black eye is commonly due to vascular leak in scalp tissue.
Most commonly it is traumatic and spontaneous bleeding is rare.
You need to get investigation like bleeding time, clotting time, prothrombin time and INR. Liver function test too.
You can take vitamin K and vitamin C supplementation too.
Continue rest medications.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Do get back to me for further queries.
