Question: Hello Doctor,
I have also dropped query regarding this previously regarding facing irregular bleeding after my periodic cycle.
This is 4th time this is happening now. My periods are normal and always on time 30 days cycle. but after my normal cycle is over I get little bleeding (very less) which last for about two days and again it becomes normal.

I am really worried about it now. Sh'd i just get some health check done? What can cause this? what sh'd i do to?

Could this affect fertility?
Is eating papaya, chicken, egg, Tea/Coffee can cause this? I have observed that i had egg and chicken and i got bleeding.
thi smonth I had my periods on 22August and bleeding stopped on 27th August.

But from last week i was unwell and was on medication for fever, cold etc. also had egg . On 3rd sept. I got bleeding which is very less but I am worried about it.

Please help.

Thanks,
XXXX

Brief Answer:
This is normal and no need to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

Thanks for your query.

I have read you query and I understand your concerns about reduced flow and bleeding.

Following is my reply:

1) It is normal to have such reduced flow once in a while due to minor hormonal variations. Since this is your 4th time only I dont see reason to panic. This is normal once in a while.

2) This pattern of menses is not related to food you are taking. You can have chicken or egg. They wont cause any alteration in menstrual cycle.

3) You dont need any test as of now. This wont cause any problem in fertility in future.

4) There is no need to test further unless you are trying for pregnancy now.

I hope I answered you query and addressed your concerns.

Let me know if you wish to ask any further questions. I will be glad to help you.

Regards,
Dr. Soumya
