Posted on Fri, 24 Oct 2014
Question: I am 32 years male from XXXXXXX
I am feeling dizziness from past two years, I have done all master health check ups and every showed up normal and within the limits. Also done CT scan and Endoscopy. Both reports are normal
This giddiness comes and goes all the time. And some times stays for few hours.
I experience this giddiness especially a few hours after breakfast, or may be before late lunch.
I guessed it could be some diabetic problem. But reports of blood sugar are normal again.
And i got myself a personal glucometer, and have been checking from past few months.
Average fasting is 90 -100 and two hour after meal is 100 - 125 and 4 hour after meal is 75 - 90
What could be my problem please suggest.

Brief Answer:
There is nothing to worry

Detailed Answer:
Dear Bro

There is absolutely no cause to be worried about
All your reports are normal. So stop worrying about any health ailments.
The only issue you has is high body index (in your case it is 34 ,normally should be less than 25). It implies that you are overweight(disease of modernization and lifestyle ).
The dizziness is likely to be due to
1. Overweight
2. Lack of physical activity
3. Intake of meals at regular time

I would suggest you the following which will definitely be helpful

1. Exercise : Brisk walking is the best exercise . 30 minutes of brisk walking will be very helpful if done twice a day . It also help in weight reduction.
2. Diet control: Do not go on crash diet for reducing weight.aim at reducing 0.5 kg every week. (Target weight loss of 2 kg a month. Slow and steady is the aim.
Avoid following
1. Fried food
2. Excessive oil
3. Excessive salt
4. Desi ghee

Consume more of

1. Water : Ensure water intake of 2 to 3 liter a day
2. High fiber diet : 2 servings of vegetable salad a day will ensure adequate intake of fiber
3. Citrus fruits
4. Fresh lime water twice a day

Get ent assessment to rule out Labrynthitis which could also cause dizziness

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Take care

Best regards
Dr Deepak
