Suggest Treatment For Irregular Menstruation

Question: Hi
Trying to conceive.
I have been having normal cycles (28 to 34) but last cycle periods was delayed upto 45 days I was prescribed Modus tab. Upon my husband's disagreement to take Modus I didn't take it. Got periods on day 65. It was very unusual brownish and just few drops per day, for six days. Doc said it was prescribed for getting proper periods. So after mild periods I've started taking Modus. Is it a contraceptive? Should I discontinue and start taking ovalife met after periods?!
Kindly clarify

I understand your concern..

Modus helps to get a proper period on time.. It's not good to prolong your periods till 65 days. It's ok to use ovalife for good ovulation..

After you can get proper periods you can take ovulation induction drugs from 2nd day for ovulation to occur.. Modus doesn't have contraceptive effect.. Follicular study to be done to know the time of ovulation..

Thanks for answering. I have another query.
As I said I already had a mild period. Is it ok to take Modus immediately after the mild period or should it be taken after expected ovulation day?

It should ideally be taken after ovulation to get good flow and timely periods.. But since your periods was very less this time, it would be better to complete the 5 days course of modus for a proper periods..
