Brief Answer:
Wait for your menses for one week.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for trusting healthcaremagic for your health care.
I can understand your concern.

The irregular period problem can be due to so many reasons other than pregnancy.
As your home urine pregnancy test negative after so many days of missed period the chances of pregnancy are not there in your case.
Hence, in my opinion you should wait for your menses for one week.
If you will not resume your period within a week, you should confer with a Gynecologist and get yourself examined and investigation done to rule out the cause of delayed and irregular period.
The most common cases of irregular period are hormonal imbalance, thyroid disorder (as in your case), PCOD, stress, sudden weight changes, excessive exercise and fibroid.
- You should consume healthy and balanced diet rich in fruits and vegetables.
- Do yoga and meditation to relieve your tension
- Do some exercise to sustain your weight
-You can take hormonal pills to regulate your cycle after consulting your treating physician
-You should repeat your thyroid profile and regulate the dose of Eltroxin.

Hope it is useful, feel free to ask more.

Brief Answer:
Wait for your menses for one week.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I'm sorry for the delay in my response.

In my opinion you should await for one more week before taking meprate for withdrawal bleeding
Because you are having a history of irregular menstruation.

If you will not resume your period naturally then you can take meprate after consulting your treating doctor (as meprate is a prescription drug).

Hope it is useful, feel free to discuss further.

If you have no further query and want to close the discussion kindly accept my answer before closing it.

Thanks.
