Brief Answer:
Thyroid control and hysteroscopy necessary

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

Thanks for your query.

I have read you query and I understand your concerns about irregular bleeding.

Following is my reply:

1) It is important to have thyroid hormone control as uncontrolled hypothyroidism leads to irregular bleeding. This could also be a reason for miscarriage.

2) Please test thyroid profile again. Send me recent thyroid profile reports if you have any.

3) If you have thyroid hormones under control with thyronorm, another possibility could be minor uterine defects like uterine polyp or fibroid.

4) You need to get diagnostic hysteroscopy test done to confirm there are no polyp or fibroids which are common causes of irregular bleeding as well as miscarriage. Please get hysteroscopy done.

5) Smelly vaginal discharge could be due to minor fungal infection which needs to be examined by your doctor and given medicines to treat the same. Doctor will prescribe you vaginal pessaries for a week which will help you be relieved of the smelly discharge.

I hope I answered you query and addressed your concerns.

Let me know if you wish to ask any further questions. I will be glad to help you.

Regards,
Dr. Soumya

Brief Answer:
Not necessarily

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

It is not necessary to have these blood tests done as they are not going to give any extra information.

Doing these blood test won't harm you but just cost you some money.

Test your thyroid levels again and if normal, Hysteroscopy is next step.

Take an antacid like tablet rant account daily once before breakfast. This will help you to relieve uneasiness in stomach.

Let me know if you need any more clarification.

Brief Answer:
High TSH needs treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I saw the attached reports.

Your TSH is very high at 7. Your thyronorm needs to be increased. Please see your doctor.

IgG values are higher which indicates past infection and not a concern. This does not affect pregnancy. IgM value is normal which is good sign.

Let me know if you need any more clarification.
