Suggest Treatment For Irregular Periods
Question: Hello Sir,
My fiyance having irregular MC. Some time 45 day or sometimes even more. I'm thinking generally it is 28day. Problm is since so long. She did sonography of pelvic region but nothing abnormal.
One her nurse frnd suggested to start 'Overal L'
I searched on net, some say for stopping MC or birth control. Plz
Plz suggest or clarify abt use of this medication and provide solution for this problem.

Ovral L is a combined hormonal pill, contains low dose of Levonorgestrel and Ethinylestradiol.
It should be taken once daily at the same time for 21 consecutive days with 7 days gap to get withdrawal bleeding like period. HOwever before starting hormonal pills, it is always better to start those pills under supervision and regular follow up.
It has DUAL role - Regularization of monthly period if taken properly and gives highest protection against unwanted pregnancy (Contraceptive effect) after 1-month used.
