Question: Dr. Kakkar, we spoke months ago, i started having an irritation in my genital, anal and back of leg region starting the first month of this year. i ran std tests many times only to test positive for HSV-1. i have never had any visible problems, you had me take cetirizine, which i received a cold shortly after. vitamin B and anti-fungal cream and powder i have been using for months. my feelings have subsided, thank you, but not resolved, local doctors do not know what to tell me. still have such an irritation in my perineum and surrounding areas constantly every day. this is driving me insane. it almost feels as if the area is swollen it is hard to describe. this has been 5 months now of this feeling, i must resolve this problem it is ruining me. could this be a parasite? the only problem i have been having is the perineum irritation and frequently it can be felt in the genitals. the problem does seem worse when the skin touches its self or other objects like sitting down. you have helped me so far please help me be rid of this feeling for good.
