Suggest Treatment For Irritation On Vaginal Lips
Question: I get a slight irritation in the same place on my inner left vaginal lip. It starts as an itch then will turn to a burn. I will put monistat on it and it goes away over night . Does this sound like herpes
Brief Answer:
It can be due to yeast infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us about it.
If itch or burn on vaginal lip will get away in overnight with monistat (antifungal cream) then it is most probably due to fungal infection (yeast).
The chances of herpes are less because it is responding to antifungal treatment.
Hope it is useful, feel free to ask more.
Good luck.
