Suggest Treatment For Itching In Throat, Ears And Eyes
Question: I am having continuous itching in my Throat, ears & eyes. most of the time. specially wile sleeping. This is there more than 1 month.
Along with the above, I am having gas problem. Gas is moving different parts of my stomach
Please advice me with your experience.

Hi and thanks for your query.
Your symptoms of itching seem to be because of allergy. Try antiallergic medicine like cetirizine 1 tablet before sleeping.
Gas problem can be due to many reasons. Do you have any other symptoms like burning sensation in stomach, pain in abdomen, diarhea, constipation etc? If gas alone then try ayurvedic medicine like gasex, gasso churna (once in a while). Antacid medicines like pantaprazole can also be tried especially if you have acidity. Also get checked for typhoid with a typhidot test.
You should also take cleaner drinking water. It will help with both itching and gas.

Thanks doctor for your advice.
I am taking cetirizine from last 1 month. I have also taken Montak LC for 10 days. but still I am not cured. Do I need to take antibiotic medicine ?
Regarding Gas, I have only gas issue no other symptoms.

It is better to consult an ENT specialist to rule out conditions that can cause the symptoms. Antibiotics are indicated in bacterial infections and you dont seem to have an infection. Cetirizine and montek LC will not cure the condition. They will simply relieve you of symptoms of allergy. Allergen is to be avoided. It may also be a fungal infection. In that case antibiotics will not have any use. Fungi are hard to be treated as well. ENT sppecialist will be able to examine and diagnose it.
If it is just gas then it can be ignored. Stomach exercises in yoga will help. Tummy massage helps.
