Brief Answer:
Yeast infection will take atleast 2-4 weeks to subside completely
Detailed Answer:
Hi sir.Thanks for your query.
Yes, your physician has treated you for yeast/fungal infection which is very true as per your description.Yeast infection generally takes 2-4 weeks to subside.Hence continue the medications as per his advise.
I would recommend to take Tab.Levocetrize 5mg which is available over the counter for itching for 10 days. This is an anti-histaminic and helps to relieve itching.
Restrain for sexual activity for atleaset week's time and allow the infection to subside.
Hope this answers your query.
Feel free to reach me for further queries you may have.

am applying onabet cream...will this help or would you suggest any other doctor.
Brief Answer:
You may go for a second opinion if the response is not satisfactory
Detailed Answer:
Hello sir.Thanks for your revert.
I completely understand your concern Sir! But, truely this is the treatment which I would also recommend.I presume you have consulted a dermatologist.
Continue to use the same medication as advised for atleast one week.Fungal/yeast infection takes time to clear as discussed earlier.
You may always take a second opinion if the response is not satisfactory after a week.
Hope this helps.

Brief Answer:
Consult a qualified dermatologist as early as possible
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thanks for your follow up query.
As per your description I understand that the medication has not helped to alleviate your symptoms despite following my advise. Yeast infection is the commonest of all and your symptoms perfectly matched the diagnosis and thus the reason for your treatment.
Since there is no satisfactory response I would suggest you to get in touch with your dermatologist since it might require further examination and workup.
You will get well soon.Nothing to worry.
