Brief Answer:
Can be worms or due to gastric problem
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal
It is not necessary from that information that you have worms.
However, it is possible because worms can cause similar symptoms.
I suggest you take Albendazole after consulting your primary doctor.
It is quite a safe and a very effective medication.
However, gas can also be due to gastritis and itching can be due to chronic constipation as well.
In these cases, it is better to take a proton pump inhibitor for gastritis and a powder called isapghulla for constipation. Both medicines are again quite safe.
I hope that the information help you.
Best of luck

Also got an outbreak of thrush in my mouth
Brief Answer:
CBC and stool routine to identify the worms.
Detailed Answer:
It depends on the type of worm one has.
The symptoms are usually as you have mentioned- abdominal discomfort, vomiting and nausea, loss of weight, or inability to gain weight, sometimes headache, constipation commonly (with occasional diarrhea).
As for the oral thrush, that is not usually a part of the parasitic infection. This is usually seen in people with some disability like diabetes in which case the fungal infections are common. Of course, if there is just white tongue, it could be due to abnormal stomach activity- like an infection.
One of the first tests that can be done for testing worms would be CBC. In this test hemoglobin would be less. Eosinophil count may be high.
A stool routine test may actually identify the worm if excreted on stools.
So I suggest that if you like, you can go ahead with the 2 tests.
Best of luck
