Suggest Treatment For Itchy Bites On The Back And On Head

Question: I have itchy bites on the back of my neck and now on my head - It started almost 3 weeks ago and I have checked over and over and it isn't head lice... However now two of my daughters have the same symptoms.... I have checked their heads over and over and there is no lice there either.... Any ideas or solutions?

It can be scabies.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for asking HCM.

I have gone through your query. The problem you experience can be most likely scabies. If you send some close picture of lesions it will be more helpful.
Is there any burrowing type of lesions/ rashes. ?.
Is the itching more at night. ?.

As it is spreading to your daughters it can be most likely scabies only. Using Permethrin cream or lotion is helpful for this. After applying you can leave it for 8 hours and wash it. This you can repeat after 1 week. Anti histamines like cetrizine ( zyrtec ) can be taken once daily at night for itching.
Wash all your clothes and bed clothes also.
