Question : I woke up this a.m. with an itchy/sore lump on the outer lip of my vagina!! I am 61 years old and not sexually active. what could this be?

Hi and welcome. This is probably an abscess of labia maior which can be caused by inrgown hair or bartholin cyst inflammation. This is not uncommon and you should not be worried. In some cases antibiotics are enough for cure if started in ealy phase,but in other,it should be surgically drained under local anasthesia.
