Suggest Treatment For Itchy Rashes Under The Arms

Question: Good Evening Doctor. I am suffering from rash
under my arms, I used a deodorant and the rash is spreading and I am having lot of itching. Please suggest good remedy for the same.

Hi,
Thanks for being at Health Care Magic .
I am Dr Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, Dermatologist.

I have reviewed the attached photographs and it looking like an allergic reaction.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to apply a potent steroid anti-fungal combination cream like Clobetasol propionate and Miconazole cream on the affected areas twice daily along with antihistaminic like tablet Levocetrizine 5 mg twice daily for 10 days.

These are prescription drugs and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.

Besides this avoid using soap on these areas, wash with plain water, wear loose cotton shirts, stay in cool airy environment and avoid any deodorant.
