Suggest Treatment For Itchy, Red And Swollen Rash On Body

Question: Hello, I have a question about a rash that I have been getting since I was 10 yrs old. I am 30 now. This rash is very itchy and it grows very quick. It is swollen and red and usually stays for months at a time and when it goes away it stays away only for about a week or two then comes back usually on the same place as it was before. The picture attached is of a rash that started yesterday and its very itchy, red, swollen and growing fast. The last time I seen adoctor for this issue was when I was 13 yrs old.
Brief Answer:
Appears to be fungal infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query at HCM.
I understand your concern and situation.
I feel you must have consulted a dermatologist rather than suffering from infection. It appears to be a dermatophytic skin infection caused by a fungus. You need to take skin scrapping for fungal elements testing. You can apply antifungal thrice daily on the lesion for 2-3 weeks. Maintain the general body hygiene.
Hope I answered your query
