Question: Hi, I have a girlfriend and we are regularly involved in sexual activity. We have protected sex the most but have had unprotected sex a few times, but no where near climax. Well today after we had unprotected sex and it was like for just a few minutes because I did not won't to get close to climax at all I have noticed red marks on the head of my penis. I have noticed them before after my girlfriend and I have had unprotected sex. They itch real bad, and can scab up, like its dry skin. I know it is not a STD or anything like that because I got it checked before. But how can I make it stop itching? It even makes the sack of my testicles itch some times too. I have some clobestasol propionate cream and triamcinolone acetonide cream that I got for eczema in the past, will that help?

Brief Answer:
Oral ivermectin, Topical permethrin

Detailed Answer:

Hello,
Thank you for posting on HCM.
I have reviewed your history and picture. Though the picture is not very clear, It seems likely that you have got scabies.
Its a kind of parasitic infestation caused by a mite and is acquired by close physical contact with affected individuals.
Consult a dermatologist, who would prescribe you oral drugs like ivermectin and antihistaminics. Also, apply a cream containing 5% permethrin, below neck onwards to cover whole body followed by bath in warm water after 8 hours. Do not repeat the same unless advised. Ideally, everyone in the family and your sexual partner should be examined and treated in similar way to prevent recurrence.
Next day onwards apply hydrocortisone and fusidic acid cream twice a day over lesions for 7-10 days.
Launder clothes and beddings in warm water.
Maintain proper hygiene.
Hope this will take care of your issue
Thank you
