Suggest Treatment For Itchy Red Rashes On The Body
Question: I have a red, itchy rash all over my body---legs, arms, stomach, back. The rash is slightly raised. I've put Benadryl, Cortaid/cortisone on the affected areas. It sounds like a contact dermatitis. I haven't eaten anything different or tried on different clothing or come into contact with anything that I know of. Any idea for a better remedy? I do have a ear/throat infection right now. Would that make me develop a rash?

Brief Answer:
Either contact dermatitis or viral rash, tab cetrizine & cortisone cream
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at Healthcaremagic
I have gone through your complaints and there are few possibilities like contact dermatitis or viral rash as you are associated throat and ear infection.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to take tablet Cetrizine 10 mg twice daily along with cortisone cream twice daily for 5-7 days.
Viral rash usually resolves in a week's time.
