Suggest Treatment For Joint Pain In The Shoulders, Knees And Hips

Question: I have joint pain in shoulders, knees, hips but no issues after bone scan and RA test.......more intense at night and evenings so don't sleep well
Blood tests within norms, I exercise regularly and in good weight for age
I sweat excessively at night but my fingers and toes are so cold before I go to bed the nail bed is purple
I am on long term treatment for depression, anxiety and panic attacks and take Paxil daily
I rotate from having constipation to diarrhea to normal, changed my diet to glutten free because was having severe cramps after eating bread and other items.
What should my doctor test for?

Brief Answer:
Can be due to low levels of calcium and vitamin D3.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The joint pains with normal RA and bone scan can be due to low levels of calcium or vitamin D3. It can happen due to osteoarthritic changes also. It is best to get these blood levels checked and get an X-ray of the affected joints done for proper management.
I hope this answers your query.
