Suggest Treatment For Kidney Stone
Management options explained
Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome
I appreciate your concern
Small stones e.g less than 5 mm can pass spontaneously by taking adequate fluids and straining urine. If the stone size is between 5 and 10 mm then the chances are less for the stone to pass. An X ray KUB and ultrasound abdomen pelvis or a CT KUB can be advised to know the exact size and position of the stone. Greater than 10 mm size would most likely require Lithotripsy or Ureteral removal of stone.
