Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.
I have read through your query in detail.
The left vesicoureteric junction calculus measuring 3.8 mm is a small one and but causing mild urinary block and still might be causing you pain and discomfort. It is stuck at the lower end of ureter on the left side. Such a small stone can pass out on its own but it is better to go to the urologist and take medications that will reduce your pain and help the stone to pass out easily.
For the left vesicoureteric calculus to pass through you should continue taking adequate amounts of water and visiting washroom frequently. The urologist will review your condition and might suggest taking
(i) an antispasmodic medication like hyoscine that will reduce your pain
(ii) an alpha blocker medication to allow the stone move forwards and in to the urinary bladder.
(iii) alkasol syrup to reduce the acidity of urine.
For the right kidney stones are small and still located in kidney and not causing urinary obstruction. If you get pain on right side then must get another scan and take urologist opinion immediately.
In general you might choose to follow instructions below to avoid any more stones in your kidneys and to cause the stones in right kidney to disappear.
DOs for kidney stones
(i) Drinking as much as 1.5 to 2.5 liters a day may help flush out your urinary system. This will also allow small stones to pass through.
(ii) Visit washrooms regularly and empty your bladder when you feel like doing urination.
(iii) Please take fruits like apple, papaya, watermelon, pineapple, sweetlime, bananas and orange, vegetables like, white gourd, ladyfinger, pumpkin, pulses and legumes.
(v) If you have sharp pain then you should consult your doctor and take pain reliever medications under strict supervision.
DONTs for kidney stones
(i) Please avoid holding urine for long intervals.
(ii) Please reduce foods containing oxalates like non veg, vegetables like spinach, tomato, cauliflower, brinjals, nuts like cashew, pista and almonds.
(iii) Decrease extra salt in foods.
(iv) Avoid spicy pickles.
(v) Please eat meat products in normal amounts, avoid eating too much.
Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.
Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing back with an update.
The stone is at present stuck in the tube connecting the kidney and urinary bladder on the left side. As per online healthcare guidelines, doctors cannot give any medicine prescription and a prescription has to be obtained from a doctor after consulting one in your area.
That is the reason I suggested that you please consult the urologist and take medications as in reply sent in the morning.
For pain XXXXXXX to stone stuck in ureter, medication hyoscine is recommended by most doctor (available as tablet HYOSPAN 10 mg and HYOCIMAX mg) to control pain when it is there and should not be taken when pain is absent. This is a prescription medication and you have to get one after consulting your doctor.
To reduce the acidity of urine syrup ALKASOL can be taken 15 ml in a glass of water three times a day for 5 days.
The alpha blocker medication can have serious side effects in some people and is to be given after clinical examination only.
Please continue taking lots of water and do not hold urine.
Food advise is as follows
