Suggest Treatment For Knee Pain

Question: Hi Doctor,
Actually I wanted to consult you regarding my mother's health concerns.
Actually from the past few months she is suffering from pain in her left knee which sometimes gets below on the leg too.Please provide a suitable solution to get it cured asap.

Hi,

Thanks for your query.

Pain in the knew joint for a duration of months has to be investigated in detail. You may have to get certain tests which will help us to know what kind of joint inflammation it is. Based on which suitable treatment plan can be formulated.

Tests like Rheumatoid factor (RA ), C-reactive protein (CRP), Serum Calcium and Serum Vit D3 levels. These will help to cure the condition.

Meanwhile let her apply Diclofenac gel over the affected knee without massaging it.
