Suggest Treatment For Large Blood Blister On My Vagina

Question: I also have quite a large blood blister on my vagina. It is not painful but I did pinch it and a huge amount of blood came out. I have not had intercourse for a very long time (so we can rule that out). I do not have a gynaecologist, just a make GP and I am too embarrassed to let him know. I only wear cotton underwear. I am 71 years of age.
Brief Answer:
regular dressing required now...
Detailed Answer:
hello,
thanks for the query to HCM ,
If it was a hematoma which is more likely to be over vagina and unlike to be a hemorrhagic bartholin cyst. If you have already burst it open then , in a way it has been the right thing to do. Now if the blood has stopped , then you may clean it with clean warm water and dry it. Then you may apply an antibiotic ointment like OINTMENT MUPIROCIN over it thrice a day for 5 days to allow it to heal naturally. Wear loose clothes to avoid any friction and keep the local area dry. You may apply a dry cotton pack over the lesion after each application of the ointment.
