Suggest Treatment For Large Nasal Septal Spur
Question: I have a large nasal septal spur with a minor deviated septum. Can the spur be removed without a septoplasty? I do not want a septoplasty! I am looking for as little trauma as possible to my nose so that I can go home breathing.
Brief Answer:
endoscopic septoplasty
Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for your query.
Septal spur can be removed by doing endoscopic septoplasty.where in they remove only the spur or deviated part of the septum with little trauma to the nose. There is no need for them to correct the entire septum .Its a day care procedure. But nasal packing will be done for 24 hours to control bleeding.
Hope my answers may help you.
Please to help you further. Thanks.
