Cognitive behavioral therapy should help.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
ADHD with inattention predominance (ADD) naturally leads to various problems in adapting with the academic or social environment. Unfortunately this disease is not something that can be cured. So, one has to live with it, and one has to learn to cope with it so that he can better adapt to the surroundings and deal with the challenges of life. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) helps in identifying the problem areas, helping in accepting the reality and helping in developing proper coping mechanisms that enable to efficiently adapt to the challenges faced. The solution you need to look for is CBT.

Unless properly taken care of, ADHD of childhood frequently progresses to Adult ADHD. Proper intervention practically brings the individual to lead a normal level of life.
Although theoretically stem cell therapy can help, I would not consider it as a great option. It is not merely a matter of cell population that stem cells can help in producing. There are a number of factors that act as determinants.

We have been trying to follow the same regime and virtually finding it difficult to sustain and not finding lot of improvements. We are looking for a good remedial center at XXXXXXX and have been advised to follow OT, Special Edu., Yoga, meditation and music classes. Thanks for writing back. Sorry for not being able to respond faster.
Let me assure you that as a developmental pediatrician, I happen to specialize in developmental disorders like ADHD. Think of it to be like diabetes or high blood pressure. Once you have it, it is hard to let go of. But with simple and proper managment, the patient can lead a practically normal life and can live reasonably long as well. In case of ADHD, proper management can make a great difference. For your child, you have rightly been advised occupational therapy (OT), special education, as well as concentration building as well as relaxing exercises like yoga, meditation and music. I would not insist you to get stressed out. If you do, may be you too would find yoga and meditation useful. This is not to undermine the mental strain that you are having. I am saying that you need to be strong and deal with it effectively.

As a parent, it is our concern to know more about right learning style and strategies IEP plans
Further, how far he can go being in inattentive one.. What about job capabilities and opportunities? How can we increase his self esteem and confidence to deal in peer group and make friends.
How much few critical training sessions will help him as suggested by our psychologist.
Few tests carried out are SLD INDEX, ADHD SCALE, SHI, HAMA, AMT recently and reports are awaited? Whether these tests will provide any guidance and support for future strategies ?
CBT sessions will make a difference. Medication may be needed.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for clarifying.
The mentioned tests would definitely help in identifying and managing the condition. Based on the findings and with proper support he can live a normal life which is practically equivalent to that of others. This definitely involves a hard work from his side. About his job capabilities, he has to abstain from any job that requires continuous attention or the ones that may generate life risk in case of inattention. Driving, swimming, complex strategy related jobs, are to name a few.
There are support groups in many areas and see if you can find one in your area. That will also help him to grow his self-esteem which is very important.
