Suggest Treatment For Left-sided Lumps On Chest
Question: hello doctor
i m a 35 year old male and healthy overall
but i have put on a lot of weight in the last four years which i m trying to loose
i have noticed from the last few years that i ve noticed two small lumps on my chest on left side
they are 1 cm in diameter and feel like some guilty ?
i never bothered but before i ve same kind of guilty on my back also on right side from few years which is felt when i go for massage?
there is no pain in any of them
is it because of fat or something else and can it be because i ve gained a lot of fat on my chest and back?

Read and understood that your are overweight and have 2 lumps (gutli/gilty) on the chest on left side, 1 cm in diameter for last *few years and another on the right back which is felt only when you go for massage. All are painless. Wants to know the reasons.
One thins is sure, they are not because you gained lots of fat.
They are multiple, over a few years and yet 1 cm only, painless.
So most probably they are lipomas or mat be sebaceous cysts.
I would advise you the following:
Since such lumps need direct palpation for clinical diagnosis, you need to consult a Surgeon who on palpation will confirm whether these are lipomas or anything else.
If these are lipomas/cyst you may either remove them or can keep under observation.
Of course the option of removal for 2 reasons is there:
1. You get rid of the disease
2. You get a confirmed histo-patho diagnosis and no stress of what these lumps
are.
