Suggest Treatment For Lipoma

Question: Hi,
Can u suggest me medicine/treatment for Lipoma(fat lumps under the skin).
I have almost 30 lumps in total body..from the last 4 years.they are not growing..
From the google search I found
kanchanar guggulu
thiphala churna
Vitamin D3 gold
Magnicium Citrate
Helps on regular consumption for a period of time...
So I wanted to know how much this information is true...?

Dear
Thanks for contacting Ayurveda with your health concern and some clarifications are required from your side for further necessary Ayurveda management:
1. Was any expert opinion taken from any physician ( esp. Surgeon) regarding type and prognosis of lump?
2. Are you experiencing any pressure symptoms from the lumps?
3. Is there any aggravating condition for the same: overweight, abnormal lipid/thyroid profile, or any secondary disease?
4. Above mentioned medicine will work if other secondary causes (stated above) are excluded.

1. Assessment by surgeon is recommended to differentiate the type of Lipoma since some are normal and other may require treatment.
PS.
i. although lipoma itself means condition is not alarming, but examination is necessary, since treatment of lipoma is not necessary unless the tumor becomes painful or restricts movement, and are usually removed due to cosmetic reasons.
ii. pathologist [biopsy], or imaging study [x-ray/MRI] may be considered
2. any history of familial multiple lipomatosis in your family?

Thanks for the suggestion,
One final query.
My first lipoma, I found it after I started going to gym. So I stopped working out at gym. And through google I found most people faced lipoma after working out at gym only.
So what's your word on this..? Do really gym amplifies lipoma lumps..?
Can I again go to gym???

Brief Answer:
They are not caused by going to gym.

1. Some people are predisposed to have lipomas whether you go to gym or not, so you should continue with your workout.
2. Also incorporate following:
i. limit zinc, alcohol, take low fat diet but remember they won't shrink them because lipomas are encapsulated thus not metabolically available as FAT but still prefer good saturated fats (coconut oil, olive oil, flax seed oil,)
ii. Liver is vital for breakdown of food [including fat], thus hepatoprotective drugs should be taken regularly, since overworking can lead to build up of fat in and around body- LIPOMA.
iii. sage oil may be applied on lipomas which causes gradual decrease in size.
iv. avoid chemical/toxin accumulation by refraining from tobacco, artificial coloring/flavoring agents.
PS. At any moment if wish to go for surgical option, I would recommend removing the most bothersome one alone first, to see how it heals and what kind of long term scar forms. [plastic surgeon will explain to you the treatment options and a surgical plan and what techniques they plan to use to minimize the location and optimize the appearance of scar]
3. remember to take arogyavardhini in 1:2 ratio with kachnaar guggulu
. trifla kshaya in 15:1 ratio to vridhi vadhika vati.

Thanks for reverting back.
1. Kanchnaar gugullu : 2
Arogyavardhini vati : 1
with 25 ml Dashmoolarishta thrice daily, after meals
PS. If after having you feel gastric irritation then take:
5 tablespoon (5×5=25 ml);of dashmoolarishta and 5 spoons (5×5=25 ml) of water = 10 tablespoon i.e. 50 ml and then take the above said drugs
2. Since Triphla is a laxative thus taking thrice daily might result in loose motions thus is suitable once daily ( at night/bedtime)
