Suggest Treatment For Liver Hemangioma
Question: I discoverd since 2 years a Liver Hemangioma (1cm) via US then I confirmed it with tri phasec CT scan . Then i monitored it for 2 years no changes. Shoul i stop
if on monitoring itis not growing and there is no problem then no treatment is required. continue monitoring and have regular liver function test.

Why should i monitor it if it was stable for 2 years .

I don't understand
What i know about hemangiomas that it can not turn to cancer & it is just blood vessel .
Why should i follow it up ?

Followup for liver hemangioma.
Detailed Answer:
Possibility of turning to cancer is remote, but there can be bleeding disorder. Main problem is bleeding after it breakdown also leads to infection.
In future complication, it is difficult to tackle in view of it is in liver.
