Suggest Treatment For Loose And Broken Tooth

Question: hello Doctor..
1)my front lower tooth is loose..and
2)back side tooth broke yesterday..black color dot is appearing there..doctor took xray and told that cavity has reached half...so he suggested root canal...but he also told that he can clear the cavity and fill it...but if while cleaning nerve opens..he will do root canal...pl help..i dont have xray..

Hi

Thanks for writing in.

If your cavity has approached pulp & you experience sensitivity to hot & cold then go for root canal treatment.In case you have sensitivity to cold that relieves by hot then you might be borderline & may go for indirect pulp capping. In indirect pulp capping he will place temporary filling followed by excavation of caries for 21 days & if no problem persists then he will place permanent filling otherwise go for RCT.
In case of loose teeth go for gum massage.
Consult your dentist for further treatment plan.
