Suggest Treatment For Loose Bowels With Occasional Gas

Question: Thank you..My question is about loose bowels that I've had for several years. It's not diahrea, there has never been a rush to "go". I am 81 years old, my diet is not the problem since I have tried to eliminate possible causes and adopted other methods.

There is no pain aside from occasional gas movement which I can feel.
No frequency. Bowel movements are usually 1 to 3 days apart.
Nothing unusual about the smell and no mucus nor blood.
