Brief Answer:
Probiotic will be helpful

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcaremagic
Greetings of the day
Dear Mr XXXXXXX

Majority of loose motion in children are caused by viral in origin and are self limiting. If the following criteria is fulfilled then there is no cause for concern.

1. Absence of blood in stools

2. Absence of Fever

3. No signs of Dehydration : tongue is moist , on pinching the skin and releasing it , it immediately goes back

4. Urine output adequate

5. Baby accepting feeds well

The principle of management is

1. Ensure adequate intake of water and electrolyte to prevent dehydration

2. Ensure adequate intake of nutrition

I would suggest you the following

1. Antibiotics are not indicated

2. Probiotic like Flora BC will reduce frequency of loose stool

3. WHO recommended Oral rehydration solution to be given to baby as much as he can drink using watti and spoon

4. Ensure intake of adequate food

5. Wash the anal region with water after every loose stools to prevent rash

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Take care
