Suggest Treatment For Loose Motions When Diagnosed With Food Poisoning

Question: Dear Doctor,
My son aged 20 years, is suffering from food poisoning due to food taken from outside. He had somewhat loose motions four times yesterday and fever. I had given him Paracetamol tablet and Norflox TZ tab, one in the morning and one in the night. He is having plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration. Today, the fever is down, but the sensation to go for stools is there. Due to the present problem he has flatulance also.
Please advise if Norflox TZ can be stopped if he becomes normal. Thanks. H.A.Munaff

Brief Answer:
Continue Norflox TZ for total 5 days even if he become normal
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
First of all I suggest you to continue Norflox TZ for all five days even if he is normal. You may add Tab BIFILAC, one tablet thrice a day for five days along with the above. Norflox is an antibiotic which does not need to be started all the time, if you had started it complete the course and do not leave it in between.
The sensation will soon vanish.
