Suggest Treatment For Low RBC Levels In Blood
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: My doctor is on vacation, I have below normal low RBC, hemoglobin, and hematocrit. MY iron level and ferritin levels are okay. Another factor- showing absorption (I think) was low. Any idea what tests or treatments would come next? I am generally healthy, but do have IBS, I am 64 years old. Thanks.
Brief Answer:
please upload the reports
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
approaching anemia (low hematocrit) is not that simple sometimes. Having the reports would help me to narrow down the list of potential diagnoses and propose a strategy for investigation. So please upload all the reports.
Kind Regards!
