Suggest Treatment For Low Hemoglobin Count, Fatigue, Headache And Breathlessness
Likely to be Iron deficiency anaemia
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day
Dear Ms XXXXXXX
The likely cause is due to Iron deficiency anaemia. The most commonest cause for anaemia in females are
1. Nutritional deficiency: Consuming diet low in Iron
2. Excessive loss : There is also loss in menstrual blood, especially more if there are clotts or bleeding prolonged
3. Worm infestation in intestine
These factors act independently and may co-exist and cause anaemia
I would suggest you the following
1. Complete blood count
2. Peripheral smear examination for blood picture
If the peripheral blood smear reveals microcytic(Red blood cells small in size) Hypochromic( decreased pigmentation of RBC) is is likely to be Iron deficiency anaemia which can be further collaborated by Serum Iron studies.
I would suggest you get this done in consultation with your Physician.
In the meantime I would suggest you the following
1. Diet modification: Consume food rich in Iron, Vitamins and Folic acid
2. Oral Hematinics and Multivitamin supplements
3. Gynaecologist assessment especially if there are clotts
Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.
Take Care
Best Regards
