Question: my wife age is 48 years. Last one month back she got Malaria fever. after one week the plates count was 35000. nearly one month the platelets count is same and improvement. WBC and RBC are with in the range. Regards.

Hello,Thank you for posting your question on Health Care Magic
If you had a infection of malaria one month back the platelets take time to improve.
I also want to know if your spleen is enlarged still .If it is so then the filtering of the platelets will be impaired .
But if your spleen is of normal size , and the platelet count's are low please get a peripheral smear done so that we can know if the shape is altered or normal.
Please revert back with the report .
Meanwhile please avoid spicy or oily food .
Avoid any incident that can trigger any kind of bleed.
Continue the papaya leaf tablet
