Brief Answer:
atenolol is unlikely the cause.
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear, welcome to HCM forum.
Thanks for posting to us.
I have gone through your query and understand your concern.
Actually, none of the medicines you mentioned has thrombocytopenia as a documented side effect.
Can you tell me the status of red cell and white cell count in your blood report?
Also, how many episodes of thrombocytopenia you had in the past?
If this is isolated thrombocytopenia with no other detectable cause, may just indicate ITP(idiopathic thrombocytopenia). This need not be worried if not associated with clinical bleeding.
Kindly get back with details if you need more help.
Wishing you good health.
Thank you.
