Suggest Treatment For Lower Back And Neck Pain While Having Degenerative Disc Disease

Question: Hi, I have Disc problem, 2 years back. Degenerated 5 discs. If I sit for long hours, I will have severe pain in low back / neck pain. My question is, Can I do skipping daily? Will that effect to my disc? Please suggest.

Hi,
Thank you for query.
Skipping is not recommended, as it gives a jolt to back which may cause pain and even worsen the condition. You can do back extension exercises, straight leg raising exercises, avoidance of forward bending or weight lifting. Also perform Yoga, Pranayam.
Apply hot packs to the painful regions.
