Suggest Treatment For Lower Back Pain Along With Abdominal Pain

My wife has lower back pain for last two days and sometime she complains it's unbearable.
Sometime she also complains about abdomen pain. The area from where pain arises is vary. This pain is for last 2 years and it's not always. In last two years, the pain may be for 4-5 times. Earlier we had her abdomen sonography for couple time but the reports were normal. Doctors pointed this out because of Gas.
I would just like to know what could be the problem and if required, which Specialist we should consult with?
Here is here details:
Age: 30 yrs
Weight: 62 kg
Child: 1 (6.5 yrs - Normal Delivery)
Yoga: She does Yoga regularly.
See gastroentrologist for abdomen pain.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
For abdominal pain , she should see a gastroenterologist. Desired investigations would be stool analysis,CT scan of abdomen and if needed colonoscopy.
Sometimes gynaecological problems can present like this. Please ask her, are there any such complains, particularly are there repeat infections.
Secondly for back pain she needs to see orthopedic doctor and get MRI of spine done.
So first step would be to rule out gynaecological complains and then get stool analysis done.See gastroenterologist and if needed get intestine related investigations done.(sonography cannot evaluate intestines that well).
If the back pain turns out be unrelated to her abdominal pain then see orthopedic doctor to get investigated for spine.
Please ask if there are doubts. Regards.
