Suggest Treatment For Lower Back Pain And Muscle Cramps

Question: I have pain in my lower back. When I get out of bed my muscle cramps so bad I jump bake into bed
Brief Answer:
Hello. This may be from a ruptured disk
Detailed Answer:
It would help to know more about your pain--exact location, whether it radiates into a leg, etc.--but most likely this is from a ruptured disk. Usually those improve with bed rest and ibuprofen. It might also be a kidney stone if the pain is just on one side.
For now, rest and ibuprofen but if things don't improve in two days you need to see your doctor for an exam and an MRI of the lumbar spine or a ct scan of the abdomen, if warranted.
Please let me know if you need any more information.
