Suggest Treatment For Lower Back Pain
Question: Few weeks back , i developed lower back pain after exercise in gym and within day back pain was gone but i started groin pain with redness on my upper inner thighs,it also went off after some days and recently i again developed same lower back pain after exercise .What is the reason of radiating this pain to other area ?what can i do to releive it?
Brief Answer:
Paraspinal muscle spasm with pinched nerve
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
In view of symptoms it is likely to be muscle spasm/pull with radiating pain arising possibility of pinched nerve.
Things that can help are - Rest, ice application, oral analgesic, physiotherapy , holding exercise for few days, taking guidance during exercises, avoid weight lifting or standing for long time and sleeping in proper position.
If symptoms continue you will have to see doctor, who might want to get MRI done to see if any nerve is getting pinched or is there slipped disc.
So try things I have suggested and if you get repeat episode see doctor.
Hope this answers your question. Please ask if there are doubts.Regards.

thanks doctor,as i earlier explained that previous pain went after some time and completely cured but when i again put pressure on back then it came back,so for now can it heel on its own just like earlier and should i consider doing exercise except back .Do pinched nerve cure on its own?Slipped disk seems to be quite serious ,can it cure on its own if it is the case
Brief Answer:
Avoid back exercises.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Avoid back exercises.Pinched nerve symptoms in early stages may resolve completely. But slipped disc is advanced condition where slipped disc material causes compression on nerves. It doesn't resolve on its own and a MRI is needed to confirm this diagnosis.
Slipped disc is common among weightlifting kind of exercises.
So ideal would be to get professional guidance for exercises and also for back pain.Regards.
