Suggest Treatment For Lower Back Pain

Question: I am lower back pain since 2 weeks, is there a medication to reduce the pain, or rest will make me reduce the pain

Hi,

I need to ask a few more questions regarding the backache before suggesting a suitable treatment. Do get back to me with the answers and we can manage accordingly.

When did the pain start? On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being severe-most, how severe is your pain? Does it radiate anywhere else? Does it get worse by bending forward, or lifting weights or coughing or straining while passing stools? Any history of recent trauma? Any history of numbness or sensory disturbances in your feet? Any weakness in your legs? Any history of stiff back? Do let me know your height and weight too.

For now, if the pain is not very severe, you should take Tab. Dolo 650 mg thrice a day. And avoid alcohol, if you are consuming it. If the pain is severe do get back to me. Rest is required only in case of spasmodic pain or pinched nerves.
