Brief Answer:
Clinical examination needed

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your query. Incidentally, this is a situation that calls for a careful clinical examination. You would need to visit a doctor for the same. Based on his findings he can advise you to go for a X ray as well. As such there are many types of bony or catilagenous growths that are possible and many of them are benign. It is no use confusing you by listing myriad possibilities. Rather, I would insist you to visit a doctor for the same.

Regards
