Other possibility would have been an infection(abscess) but, lack of pains and its duration makes it unlikely to fit this description. For this reason, I am looking at other possible causes like sitting on the area for long like riding a motorcycles, having non-adapted sits in at the workplace or at home. This would lead to increased pressure and as a means of adaptation, this area would become hard when touched.

For now, my thinking is that this must have been in adaptation to some poor postures. Since is causes no pain, I will suggest that you monitor and if any new developments are noted, report to me as they may be helpful in eliciting some other possibilities that are not being considered at this time.
